Doug,
We have about 126 riding photos from the Police Memorial Ride. They are currently password protected and not available for any public viewing. If you would like to see them, go to
www.actionphotography.ca and click on 'events and ordering' and you will then choose the event
labeled 'Police Memorial Ride 2011'. You will then have to enter a password which is memorial. If people wish to order copies, we are willing to donate any proceeds to the Police Memorial Ride Fund.
Thanks,

The 4th annual Police Memorial Ride
The 4th annual Police Memorial Ride was a complete success. The weather was spectacular which brought out a record number of riders.
This years event saw 128 motorcycles and 153 participants. Special thanks to the Toronto Police Honour Guard for their first time at the ride.
This is the third year for Peel Regional Police Service's support and participation with uniformed motorcycle officers.
The Canadian Police Association will receive a cheque for the CPA-Robert Warner Memorial Fund in excess of $14,000.00, funds raised from this event.
A special thank you goes out to all the volunteers who assisted behind the scenes, who made this day the huge success that it was.

Maylen Robert (Bob) Warner
(1926-2010)
We regret to inform you that Robert Warner has passed away.
It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Bob
Warner on February 18, 2010.
Canadian policing has lost a true civilian hero. Mr. Warner realized
that in most police departments in Canada, there was no funding to
support the families of fallen police officers. In an unprecedented
move, Mr. Warner started the Robert Warner Memorial Fund in cooperation
with the Canadian Police Association. Together they forged a mandate to
provide the family of any fallen officer in Canada funds as a gift to
assist them in their time of need. See his online obituary here

If desired, donations in Bob's memory to the CPA -
Robert Warner Memorial Fund would be appreciated.
